"Ask
and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone
who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who

We, as a church - lift up our
members, to free their gifts and support their life. When
people gathered around Jesus and received strength from him,
they left joyfully, "praising God." This is what the Church - as
the body of Christ - is called to do. We gather to participate
in the life of Jesus who blessed and healed. Christians do
worship in all manner of places because the place itself is not
important to the validity of the belief. At the same time,
places can reflect the personality of the people who gather
there.
For those that do not know.
The flow of the service may move toward or away from the altar
in various directions for readings and preaching. It centers
around the altar table - for Christians this is the table of the
Lord's Supper. We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the 1st
Sunday of every month. It is customary for the Pastor and
Deacons to serve this ceremonial event.
We are
concerned about the sick and shut-in at Fairview Missionary
Baptist Church. Visits are made regularly, cards are sent
and telephone calls are made. We have a radio broadcast at
1pm on Sundays in the Oklahoma City area. In additional,
Sunday services are recorded, if anyone would like to purchase
the tapes, videos or CDs. Please see the media ministry for
additional informational.
Sunday Morning Worship
Our
Sunday morning worship begins with church school at 8:30 a.m.
where we have study groups for all ages. In addition, we
have New Members Orientation for adults and youth, an Evangelism
Class, Singles and Married Couples groups. Our joint
worship period begins at 10:00 a.m. and includes an
uplifting praise and worship, as well as traditional & modern
hymns of faith and praise. A Scripture-based message is
delivered. We offer the opportunity to present our tithes
and offerings together. To conclude, there is an invitation to
accept Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord! Your
decision is based upon your profession of faith.
Fairview
Missionary Baptist Church is about Ministry. We have a
variety of ministries to help people tackle the tough issues
that we often face. We have something for everyone -
whether you are looking to participate, lead, or some of both,
we have a place for you. We believe in a blended service
with study, music and message working together to form a dynamic
worship experience. Church is not a chore - its a
privilege and should be treated as such. It's a special
time we spend worshiping God together... We worship through
song, thanksgiving, prayer, testimonies, offerings and the
proclamation of His Word. Each
opportunity for worship is unique... don't miss one!
