FBC Women's Conference 2021

The Women's Ministry of Fairview will hold their Annual Women's Conference on Saturday, October 2.  The Conference will be held onsite in the Church Sanctuary, as well as Virtual, by way of the church Facebook page and YouTube channel.  The theme for this year's Conference is "Christian Women Being Imitators of God:  Living a Life of Love," Ephesians 5:1-2.

Speakers for the Conference are Lady LaTricia Woodfork, of the "Friendly" St. John Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Sister Shenaquah Brison of Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Oklahoma City. 

Lady LaTricia serves in various capacities at St. John, where her husband, Rev. Rex Woodfork is Pastor.   She President of the WMU, Bible Instructor for the Deaconsess, Coordinator for Live Stream of Sunday Services, Church Secretary, a member of the choir, help with the Youth Ministry, along with her ministry of taking care of the Pastor.  Sister Woodfork is also the President for the Oklahoma Baptist Station Convention Pastors' Wives, Ministers/ Wives & Widows Conference and is a member of the Canaan District Associagtion.  CLICK HERE here to view a full bio.

Sister Brison is an avid and active member of the Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church, where Rev. Ray Douglas is Pastor.   She serves as a Trustee, Christian Education Co-Director, Small Women’s Group Facilitator, and is the Women’s Ministry Director.  

Shanequah's relationship with Christ is near and dear to her. This relationship allows for her to draw her strength to continue to forge through life's daily battles. Some of her favorite scriptures are Psalms 34, Philippians 4:13, and Colossians 3:23. The Conference Agenda will also include a Panel of women from three age categories, discussing Mental Health and Wellness.

All persons participating in the Conference, whether Virtual or On-site are asked to register for the Conference.  Early registration is encouraged and is available online, with the option to pay online.  Registration donation for Fairview women is $25.  There is no cost for guests but voluntary donations are accepted and can be made directly through Givelify or through the online registration form link.  Scholarships are available for Fairview members.  Those desiring a Registration Scholarship should contact the Ministry Director and/or check the Scholarship Option on the Registration Form.
