Fairview's first Children, Youth, Young Adult and Mid-Lifers Spiritual Growth and Development Conference will be held August 14 – 17.  The theme for the Conference is “Are You about That Life,” centering on strengthening the community of faith through Spirit-led lives.  The scripture base is Acts 2:42-47.
 
This Conference is designed to reshape personal lives of all the particular groups, age birth to 55, according to Biblical patterns.  It will give a basic pattern of equipping the saints, personal Christian growth, doctrinal integrity and the ultimate goal of building the church.
 
Each group will be engaged in concurrent sessions and will include facilitators and activities that will concentrate on the two aspects of personality development:  the natural, human personality and the Christian personality.  Areas of growth and development that the Conference will address are:  1) Physical, 2) Intellect, 3) Social, 4) Emotional, and 5) Spiritual.
 
There is NO Cost for the Conference and it is open to the public. However, those that plan to attend are asked to pre-register to assist in Conference preparation (materials, room assignments, breaks, etc).  You may register online by clicking here, clicking on the Conference Registration link below, or through the link on the web home page.
 
Sessions designed for the targeted age groups will be held on Thursday and Friday nights from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Friday night's agenda includes a family fun event, “The Kick Back,” from 9:00 p.m. to midnight.  The Conference will continue on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. with a session designed specifically for Children and Youth workers and other leaders.  Pastor Terry Buxton, Senior Pastor of Agape Fellowship in Tulsa, will be the guest facilitator. 
 
The Conference will close on Sunday with 10:00 a.m. Worship Period.  Rev. Kraig Pullam, Pastor of Mt. Salem Baptist Church, Victoria, Texas, will be the morning preacher.   Rev. Pullam is also serving as facilitator for the Young Adult sessions on Thursday and Friday nights.
