Annual Friends Day
May 24, 2015, (all day)
Fairview's 18th Annual Friends Day -  The day’s agenda is Sunday School Study Groups at 8:30 a.m. and Morning Worship at 10:00 a.m.  The theme for the occasion is “Reaching Our Friends for Christ,” Mark 5:19.

This year’s 10:00 a.m. Morning Worship preacher will be Rev. Dr. Donaldson Jones, Pastor of Mount New Home Missionary Baptist Church, Leighton, Alabama, and Special Assistant to the President of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., Dr. Jerry Young of Jackson, Mississippi.  He is an active, involved churchman, a caring pastor and conscientious patriot.  He served as pastor to several congregations prior to his call to Mt. New Home in May of 2010.  In addition to his pastoral work, he travels throughout the country, preaching and speaking in various churches, conventions and academic venues.  His preaching style is said to show intellectuality, profundity, intuitiveness and perception, oratorical cadence, and melodious rhythm.

The Fairview Family welcomes all to come and share in this special day and experience the joy of Christ.  For additional information, call the church at 405-232-1621 or visit the church website at www.fairviewokc.com.  Those in need of transportation should call 405-471-9494.
