Fairview's 19th Annual Friends Day -  The day’s agenda is Sunday School Study Groups at 8:30 a.m. and Morning Worship at 10:00 a.m.  The theme for the occasion is “Loving God Supremely,” Luke 14:26.

This year’s 10:00 a.m. Morning Worship guests will be Rev. Dr. Clemmie L. Bachus and the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Kansas City, Kansas.  Rev. Bachus will bring the Friend’s Day message.

A native of Mississippi, Rev. Bachus moved to Kansas in 1971.  He has served on several boards and committees in the local and national arena.  He currently serves as a Board Member at Large for the Western Region of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., of which Pastor John Reed is Region Vice President.  He is the grandfather to Rev. Reggie Bachus, a past revival evangelist at Fairview.  As a man of faith, he solidly keeps God at the helm of his life.  Pastor Bachus preaches and teaches with enthusiasm and prays with fervor for blessings and healing.
