Annual Martin Luther King Jr Worship Service
January 14, 2018, 3:00 pm
The city-wide Martin Luther King Worship Service will be held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church.  This Annual Service is sponsored by the Concerned Clergy for Spiritual Renewal, Inc. (CCSR) and the Progressive Oklahoma Baptist State Convention.  This year’s theme is:
“Challenges Beyond The Dream - 49th Year”

The service will feature a city-wide choir and a message.  City and civic leaders will be recognized. Speaker for the service will be Bishop Michael Leon Mitchell, the 134th Elected and Consecrated Presiding Bishop of the 12th Episcopal District of the African American Episcopal Church.  Bishop Mitchell is an anointed man of GOD whose concern for the people is not only spiritual; he is also actively involved in the social, economic and educational needs of his community.  Bishop Mitchell implemented several improvement projects and started an Outreach Center that assists the needy with food, clothing and other basic essentials.

The entire community is invited to be a part of this celebration.
