Prison Ministry Black History Worship

Fairview Baptist Church Prison Ministry will be in charge of the Black History Month Worship Service at Clara Waters Community Correctional Facility on Tuesday night, February 25.  The service is under the auspices of the Oklahoma Baptist State Convention (OBSC) Prison Ministry.

Rev. Arthur Crawford, Associate Minister at Fairview, will be the preacher for the service and Rev. Donald Brown, Sr., Pastor of First Baptist Church, Rentiesville, will be the Guest Musician.

Rev. Crawford serves faithfully, ministering to those that a part of the Department of Corrections (DOC) as well as the Oklahoma County Jail.  Rev. Brown of McAlester has pastored at First Baptist , Rentiesvielle, since 1997.  He retired from DOC.  He started Solid as a Rock Prison Ministry in 1997,  which has led to him coordinating and ministering at six different prisons.

Fairview DOC badged volunteers are encouraged to attend Tuesday night's worship service.  Those planning to attend must RSVP to Donna Thompson, OBSC and Fairview Prison Ministry Director, by Thursday, February 20, to be placed on the list to enter the facility.
