Livestreaming Worship Service
April 12, 2020     .     10:00 am - 11:00 am
We invite you to join us this Sunday and every Sunday as we share in worship and praise. Our worship periods are designed to meet the spiritual need of all worshippers.  Through traditional hymn and gospel music as well as contemporary music and practical messages, we present the ageless truths of God’s Word in a manner that is easy for anyone to understand.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, effective 11:59pm on March 28, 2020, the Mayor of Oklahoma City has implemented “Shelter in Place” which says that we shouldn’t leave home for anything that is not essential.  Through all of this, we must continue to pray, worship, serve, and give.  Beginning Sunday, April 5, 2020, we ask you to join us at 10am for our livestreamed worship service.  Although, because of the crisis, we are not able to physically gather for worship, the online services will keep us connected as a Church Family.

We offer each member and our web family the opportunity to continue to sow into the ministry of the church so we can continue to fulfill our mission as a serving church in our community.  There a number of ways to give your tithes and offerings: (1) Online through the church website, www.fairviewokc.com; (2) through the Givelify App; (3) by mail at Fairview Baptist Church, P. O. Box 36188, Oklahoma City, OK   73136, (4) or call the church at 405-232-1621 and request that it be picked up.  Also, on Sunday mornings, from 11am – 12noon, you may bring your tithes and offerings by the church and there will be an officer in the vestibule to receive your offering envelopes or you can use your debit or credit card and pay through The Square.

During this difficult time, the Pastor, Assistant Pastor and the church family are here for you.  This is a challenging time for all of us.  If you need prayer, spiritual counseling, or whatever need you might have, feel free to call upon us.  We are here to serve you.  For prayer, call the church office and leave a message on the Prayer Line or complete the Prayer Request Form on the website home page.  If you desire to counseling, to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, to unite with the church, or to rededicate your life, call the church and request to speak with a Pastor, call Evangelism Minister Cleo McGlory at 405-471-9494, or complete the Discipleship Form on the home page of the website.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (KJV).    All things are not good; some things are bad.  One translation says, “In all things God works for the good of those who love him.”  The Apostle Paul is saying in everything God is working it out for our good.  God will turn it around.  “Family, keep the faith.”
