By M. Patterson, Director; FBC Communications & PR |  November 18, 2017

Fairview Missionary Baptist Church will observe its 108th Church Anniversary and Homecoming on Sunday, December 3.  The theme for the occasion is “Giving Thanks to God,” Psalm 116:12.

The day will begin with Sunday School at 8:30 a.m.  At 10:00 a.m., the Fairview family and the Tabitha Baptist Church family will come together for joint worship.  Tabitha Pastor J. L. Mitchell, a product of Fairview, will bring the message and Tabitha's choir will sing.

Fairview members that are 85 years of age and older and those that have been members for 50 years or more will be recognized during the service.  Brother Clearon Coffey, Church Anniversary and Homecoming Chairperson, will be honored for his many years of faithful service in that position.

The day will end with a Homecoming fellowship dinner immediately following morning worship.  All members and guests are encouraged to share in the dinner.

Fairview Pastor John A. Reed, Jr. and Chairperson Coffey are urging all members, active and inactive, former members and the community to be a part of the day’s celebration.
