By T. Hill; Fairview Social Action Ministry Director |  October 29, 2019

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt will attend Morning Worship Service at the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.

Mayor Holt will provide valuable insight on the MAPS 4 Program and its 16 Projects, which will be on the upcoming ballot, December 10, 2019.  He will be highlighting the impact several of these projects will have on Ward 7 and the surrounding community.

The Council is allocating $25 million for the renovation of the historic Freedom Center and the construction of a civil rights museum to be located in Ward 7.  Oklahoma City voters will vote on MAPS 4 in a special election on December 10.  MAPS 4 would raise a projected $978 million over eight years, debt-free, funded by a temporary penny sales tax.

This event is being hosted by Fairview’s Social Action Ministry.  The community is invited to be present at Fairview November 3.

Fairview is located at 1700 N. E. 7th Street, Oklahoma City, OK.   Teresa R. Hill serves as Social Action Ministry Director.  Dr. John A. Reed, Jr., is Senior Pastor.
