My Beloved Members!

Grace and peace be to all of you from God our Father and from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We are grateful to the Lord for all of His blessings upon us during the past year.  This year has been a difficult year for all of us, as we struggle through the pandemic that has taken the lives of so many people across our nation and the world.  But through it all, by the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we have made it!  Even though we are yet in the midst of this corona virus, we have the faith to believe that trouble will not last always.  We believe that after a rainy day, the sun will shine.  And may I remind all of you to continue the protocols which have been given to us by the health professionals -- Wear Masks; Wash Hands; Maintain Social Distancing.  And, we’re hoping that within the next few months, all of us will be able to be vaccinated.

Fairview, I thank all of you for your loyalty, faithfulness and commitment to the Lord’s ministry during this past year.  The Lord will bless all of us for the gifts and the dedication of our hearts to His honor and glory.

The beginning of a new year provides us with an opportunity to recommit ourselves to the basic disciplines of discipleship that can help us, as believers, wear the title Christian most worthily.  As your Pastor, I am praying that we might give ourselves completely to the Lord, as we walk through this new year.  It is always exciting when a new year arrives before us as a page upon which we will write the history of our life.  Let us pray for each other, that it might be a good year for our Lord’s work, for ourselves personally and for our families.

On the second Sunday of January 2021, I will begin my 58th year as your Pastor.  As the Apostle Paul said to the church at Philippi, “I thank my God every time I remember you.  In all of my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.  (It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart.)” Philippians 1:3-7

Fairview, this is my message to you as we enter a new year together as Pastor and people.  I love you with all of my heart.  Happy New Year!

Pastor Reed
