The Fairview Missionary Baptist Church Family is celebrating Dr. John A. Reed, Jr., recognizing "A Legacy of Faithful Service." The Celebration is to honor 60 years of service as Pastor of the church.
Rev. Reed began his service at Fairview on the 2nd Sunday of January, 1963, and has remained to this point, giving faithfully of himself to the membership and as a servant to the community. A month-long celebration will be held in March in recognition of his service. The highlight will be a Gala Celebration on March 24, at 7pm. The event will be held at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, 1700 Northeast 63rd St., Oklahoma City.
