72nd Annual Simultaneous Revival at Fairview
The Baptist Ministers Association will host the 72nd Simultaneous Revival the week of March 29 - April 3. Churches from throughout the Greater Oklahoma City area will be participating in this massive, city-wide evangelistic effort.March 30, 2016 . 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Fairview's Evangelist will be Rev. Dr. Marcus Cosby, Senior Pastor of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston Texas. Dr. Cosby, a native of Chicago, Illinois, is a product of Emmanuel Baptist Church where Dr. L. K. Curry served as Pastor. Pastor Cosby has been leading Wheeler Avenue’s intentionally intergenerational congregation in the inner city of Houston, Texas, since 2004, having served as Associate Pastor since 1998. Wheeler has four Sunday worship services and a membership of nearly 13,000. The Revival at Fairview will be March 30 - April 1, Wednesday - Friday nights, at 7:00 p.m. Mass services will be held Tuesday through Friday at mid-day, 11:30 a.m., and late-night, 10:00 p.m. Rev. Cosby will preach Friday's late-night service at Fairview. Friday night’s late-night service will be geared toward youth and young adults. There will also be an 8:00 a.m. Revival Breakfast on Friday morning at St. John Baptist Church, 5700 N. Kelley Avenue. Rev. L. K. Curry of Chicago will be the messenger. The Revival will close Sunday, April 3. Rev. Bryan Carter of Dallas, Texas, be the closing speaker for the 3:00 p.m. mass service at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. A mass choir, comprised of members of all participating churches, will sing for the closing service. Minister Cleo McGlory, Evangelism Minister at Fairview, is leading the Simultaneous Evangelism effort. The witnessing opportunities will be posted under "Evangelism Schedule for Revival."

From I-35, Exit N. E. 10th Street. From I-40, Exit Eastern Avenue. The major intersection is N. E. 7th Street and N. Martin Luther King Blvd (formerly Eastern Avenue). Those on Martin Luther King Blvd should turn West on N. E. 7th Street. The church campus is located approximately two blocks West of M. L. King Blvd between Rev. J.A. Reed Jr. Street and N. Bath. HANDICAP PARKING: Handicap Parking is available on the South side of the main sanctuary. Passengers may be unloaded between the main sanctuary and the Donald Burns Fellowship Hall (Rev S S Fairly Drive). If no handicap parking spaces are available and you need assistance parking your vehicle, feel free to drive up in the load/unload zone and request assistance from the Hospitality Ministry. PUBLIC PARKING: Public Parking is located East and South of the main sanctuary and West of the Donald Burns Fellowship Hall. Street parking is discouraged, unless necessary due to unavailability of parking spaces in the parking lot. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAYS OF THE LOCAL RESIDENTS. RESTRICTED PARKING AREAS: The marked parking spaces North of the main sanctuary are designated Staff Parking. Please do not park in any designated areas unless authorized by security. PLEASE NOTE: Vehicles left unattended in the Fire/Emergency Vehicle or other No Parking zones may be towed. Childcare Details: The church nursery is located in the Donald Burns Fellowship Hall and is open each Sunday (except 2nd Sundays) for ages 3 - 5. Parents (or a responsible adult) must sign the child(ren) in and out. Activities are also available for these age groups on Wednesday nights during Bible Study.
