Community & Civic Memorial Celebration for Rev. Dr. John A. Reed, Jr.
September 6, 2024, 7:00 pm A Community and Civil Celebration will be held at Fairview Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 6 - 7pm at the church. The Celebratory Service will begin at 7pm. This service is for the public and provides an opportunity for all to come and pay tribute to this great leader. Reverend Reed, born March 25, 1938, died suddenly on Monday, August 26, 2024, following a brief illness. He served as Pastor of Fairview for over 61 years.
