The East Zion Consolidated District Association Pastors, Ministers, and Lay Leaders Conference will be held at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church May 22-23, 2025.  The Facilitator is Dr. D. Z. Cofield. The Conference is open to Pastors, Ministers or Laypersons from across the state.  Click here to download the Conference flyer. 

Dr. Cofield currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the historic Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Since that time, Good Hope has grown from a congregation of approximately 150 members to an active membership of more than 2500. Under his leadership Good Hope has additionally planted 4 churches out of the congregation and commissioned 2 full-time missionaries to Africa.

He is a certified Church Revitalization Specialist and a principal in The Cofield Group, a consulting organization that teaches nationally and internationally in the areas of Christian Education, Expository Preaching, Pastoral Ministries, Worship, and Leadership Development. Additionally he serves as the President of the Congress of Christian Education and Director of the Minister’s Division for the Fellowship United District Association (FUDA).
