Low-Cost Day Camp Available to Youth

Fairview Schedules Summer Day Camp

Parents and youth in the Oklahoma City area can take advantage of a low-cost summer camp scheduled to begin June 18.  The 2nd Annual Community Summer Day Camp is sponsored by the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1700 N. E. 7th Street, where Dr. J. A. Reed, Jr. is Senior Pastor.  The camp is open to youth throughout the community. 

 
The session will run June 18 through August 3, Monday through Friday.  The day’s schedule is 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and youth are to be picked up by 5:30 p.m.  The cost is a minimal donation of $10 per child, per week.  Families with three or more children attending would pay $5 per child, per week.
Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. 
 
Activities include day field trips, Bible challenges, life skills training, games, guest speakers and other wholesome, educational activities.   
 
Applications can be completed online through the church website at www.fairviewokc.com, Quick Clicks Summer Camp, or can be downloaded from the church website.  Applications are also available at Fairview Baptist Church.  Youth will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Parents should bring the completed application and payment on the first day of enrolling the child(ren) in day camp.
 
C amp staff is accepting individual and corporate donations of money, foods and supplies (arts and crafts, woodwork, small toiletries, etc.) in order to keep the costs to families at a minimum.   Checks should be made payable to Fairview Baptist Church with a memo indication of Summer Camp.
