35th Annual Prayer Bowl

Fairview Baptist Church will hold its 35th Annual Prayer Bowl on New Year's Eve, December 31, beginning at 5:30 p.m. This service is hosted by Fairview and shared with an over-capacity crowd made up of the Christian community at large.
The theme for the evening is "A Warning from God Voiced Through His Watchman,” Ezekiel 3:17. “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. “
A different preacher and church is scheduled each hour. This year's schedule is as follows:
- 5:30 p.m. - Dr. John A. Reed, Jr., Fairview Baptist Church Hour
- 6:30 p.m. - Rev. Kelly Booker, New Union Baptist Church
- 7:30 p.m. - Dr. Lee Cooper, Prospect Baptist Church
- 8:30 p.m. - Dr. Major Jemison, St.John Missionary Baptist Church, OKC, OK
- 9:30 p.m. - Rev. D. Lavel Crawford, Sr., Avery Chapel A.M.E. Church
- 10:30 p.m. - Rev. Michael McDaniel, Northeast Missionary Baptist Church
- 11:30 p.m. - Rev. Teron Gaddis, Greater Bethel Baptist Church
