During the invitation period, under the direction of Pastor Reed, we counsel those who come by Baptism or Christian Experience.  We must be prepared to talk to them about the assurance of their salvation.  We assure them that upon the profession of faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Savior, we are saved!!  We do this by sharing our personal testimony and God’s Word that supports our belief in the saving power of Christ Jesus.

 

Each ministry member is assigned to a new or rededicated member. We want new members to know that they are welcome and loved at Fairview. It is our responsibility to provide unconditional love, friendship, and fellowship through one-on-one conversations, visits, phone calls, and cards.  We continue to give them individual attention for as long as it is needed.  At our monthly meetings, we share information and encourage each other.
