Periodically, local children and youth activities, such as bowling, skating, swimming, movies, etc., are planned for the entire Fairview Baptist Church Children and Youth Ministry.  This will allow students a chance to fellowship and have fun outside of normal church fellowship.  These outings are coordinated as much as possible to involve the community and district.
 
The Youth Leaders assist the Children/Youth in planning out-of-town overnight trips during the year:  Annual Youth Retreat, State Congress of Christian Education, National Congress of Christian Education, an amusement park or museum, etc.
 
In order to participate in outings and activities, the youth must abide by policies as set forth by the Children and Youth Ministry.
