Fairview Pastor's Anniversary Scheduled

Dr. Reed Celebrates 47 Years of Service

Fairview will observe the 47th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor and Mrs. J. A. Reed, Jr. and family this month. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Campaign for Christ:  Leading to Win in 2010,” Matthew 28:19—20.  
  
Worship celebrations will begin on Sunday, March 21.  Rev. Reginald C. Payne, Pastor of the Full Gospel Baptist Church, Los Angeles, California, will bring the message for the 10:00 a.m. worship celebration.  The 47th Celebration will continue on Friday night, March 26, at 7:00 p.m.  Guest churches scheduled are:  New Hope Baptist, Rev. E. Jennings Tyson, Pastor; Greater Shiloh Baptist, Rev. Orlando Black, Pastor; Unity Baptist, Rev. Mike Woodberry, Pastor; Wildewood Baptist, Earl Bryant, Pastor; and Mt. Rose Baptist, Rev. Harvey Wallace, Pastor.  Rev. Tyson will bring the message.
 
The Celebration will end on Sunday, March 28.  Guest churches and Pastors for the day will include: Central Baptist, Chandler, Rev. James E. Reed, Sr.; Loving Mt. Calvary Baptist, Muskogee, Rev. Gary Hall; St. John Missionary Baptist, Dr. Major Jemison; Emmanuel Baptist, Rev. Chester West; New Covenant, Rev. James Bradford; Tabitha Baptist, Rev. Jeff Mitchell; Galilee Baptist, Shawnee, Rev. Anthony Rhone; New Hope Baptist, Chickasha, Rev. Al Walter; First Baptist, Purcell, Rev. Ricky McNeal; Antioch Full Gospel Baptist, Dr. Lester Czar. 
 
The 10:00 a.m. sermon will be preached by Rev. James E. Reed, Sr.  The 3:00 p.m. afternoon message will be brought by Dr. Major Jemison.
 
The community is invited to join with Fairview in thanking and praising God for the blessing of this great leadership.    Dr. Reed not only shepherds the flock of Fairview but steps up and answer the call when people of the community show a need for help or leadership.
