Fairview Women's Conference 2012

The Women’s Ministry of Fairview Baptist Church will hold Women’s Conference 2012 on Satu rday, October 13.  The theme is "Chosen Women, Fulfilling Our Mission as Disciples in the Church of Today," Matthew 28:19-20.
The Conference is from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. 
 
The program includes the following forum topics, led by women of Fairview:  Chosen Women Fulfilling Our Mission (Psalm 119:1-2) - Sister Clara Finley, Women Clothed in the Virtues of Christ (Colossians 3:12) - Sister Eboni Johnson, Women of the Church, Covered or Uncovered (Galatians 5) - Sister Jo Reed, and The Elect Lady (II John 4-5)- Sister Tracy Banks.  In addition to the speakers listed above, Sister Teressa Hunter, Healthcare Ministry Director of Fairview and Assistant Professor/Director of the School of Nursing at Langston University, will speak on Health Concerns of Women Today.

The featured speaker will be Sister Ramona Dindy of Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, where Rev. Racilus Douglas is pastor.  Sister Dindy is a past president of the East Zion Consolidated District Young Adults and past president of Greater Mt. Olive Young Adult Ministry. She is committed to her church and pastor, serving in various ministries.  Sister Dindy expresses a deep love for God and His Word, striving to allow the Word to grow and become alive in her everyday life. Fairview extends an invitation to those of the community to join them in celebrating women and their ordained role as people of God.  Registration is $10 for guests and includes continental breakfast and lunch. The church is located at 1700 N. E. 7th Street in northeast Oklahoma City.  Rev. Dr. J. A.
